Presbyterians United for Fun (PUFF)
Presbyterians United for Fun, otherwise known as PUFF, schedules various events for meals and other activities together which are advertised in the church newsletter and Sunday bulletin and on the website.
PUFF has no formal membership. It’s for everyone of all ages.
Some activities enjoyed by PUFF include Omaha’s Christmas lights via Ollie the Trolley, hockey games, Omaha Storm Chasers games followed by fireworks, Shakespeare on the Green, Jazz on the Green, a trip to Atlantic, IA for Coca-Cola Days with a stop in Walnut, IA to visit the antique shops, and attending melodramas at Mahoney State Park. TRIP TO WINTER QUARTERS MILL MUSEUM
JUNE 9, 2012
Join the group on a trip to the Winter Quarters Mill Museum at the historic Florence Mill in Omaha on Saturday, June 9, 2012, leaving from First Presbyterian Church at 10:15 a.m.
Learn about the mill’s birth in the Pioneer Overland Trails era, contributions to settlement in the Nebraska Territory, and the only structural relics from Winter Quarters and the Mormon Trail. We will also visit the second floor loft art gallery and home of Linda Meigs Studio. Tour and lunch cost is $15.00.
