BOY SCOUT TROOP 31
First Presbyterian Church has sponsored Troop 31 as a local program since its chartering in April of 1917. Boy Scout Troop 31 has served with distinction as one of the oldest continuing Boy Scout Troops in the Omaha area, with 116 young men earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
This Scouting program for boys 11-18 years of age meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To join the program and activities, please contact Scoutmaster John McPeck at (712) 328-7214, or committee members Jim Detwiler (402) 932-1907, or Larry Roitstein (402) 551-8117.

GIRL SCOUT TROOP 2664
First Presbyterian Church is the proud sponsor of Girl Scout Troop 2664. This program is for girls in the fourth through twelfth grades, and meets on the first and third Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

HEALTH MINISTRY
This program is designed to assist the needs of church members with medical needs. Services can include assisting persons going to doctor appointments, surgery and hospital visits, and offering blood pressure checks. Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training, CPR certification, AED maintenance, and regular Life Line Screening Checks are extended services. The health coordinator is Susan Bay, (402) 571-9885.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Members meet over fellowship and prayer to knit shawls and scarves to remind recipients that First Presbyterian Church loving cares for all individuals. Last year members knitted 47 scarves for soldiers in Afghanistan, and 75 prayer shawls. In the last three years, this ministry has given about 200 shawls away.
