Youth Education

Our mission is to provide Christ-centered programs for the spiritual growth of our children.      

                              Nursery Care 

NURSERY

Our nursery provides childcare in a loving, nurturing environment for infants through two-year-olds. The nursery is open from each Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and is located in Millard Hall, our education building.

Students of all ages meet in Millard Hall at 9:00 a.m. 

High School and Middle School students meet in Room No. 5. 

There are also classes for Preschool, Kindergarten through Grade 2, and Grades 3 through 5.   

Younger students are encouraged to remain in worship; however,  Children’s Church at 10:45 a.m. is available for students in Preschool following the Children’s Moment during the worship service.  Those students are escorted to Millard Hall for the remainder of worship.

CHILDREN’S MUSIC

Children’s Choir for students  in grades 1-5  meets in Millard Hall on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m.    Boomwackers meets in Millard Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.  Scott Bogacz, Children’s Choir Director,  may be contacted at (402) 210-8847 for additional information.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 9-13, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  You will have a great time singing, playing, experimenting, and learning about God.   Invite your friends and family.  Come and experience all the wonderful possibilities that God can offer!  For additional information, contact Doug Walters at (402) 345-5383 or dwalnters@fpcomaha.org.

GATHERING PLACE

Parents are iinvited to the Gathering Place on the first level of Millard Hall. It is an informal place for refreshments, reading, and fellowship.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DOWNTOWN

Wednesday Night Downtown, our midweek education program for all ages, is recessed until September, 2012.

Church Camp

CALVIN CREST

Calvin Crest is a year around camp, conference, and retreat center located on 250 acres overlooking the Platte River near Fremont. There are events offered for all ages and interests. You can pick up a brochure in Millard Hall or in the literature racks in the narthex or Calvin Hall.
