Summertime!

Summer at last! There is something so special about summer, it is less structured and in many ways spontaneous. Of course some of that depends on the weather…let’s be honest in Nebraska it always depends upon the weather! But with the summer comes play dates, vacations, later bedtimes and more opportunity to be together as a family.

But, also more opportunity to be together as a church family too! Starting this month our Adult Sunday School moves to Jenks Lounge at 9am as we continue to study the Present Word. We are also offering a Tuesday morning study of Seamless, and a Monday Evening study Anxious for Nothing, as well as uncorking Word & the Wine.

But that is not all…don’t forget about Vacation Bible School and the opportunity we have to help our neighborhood children grow in their knowledge of God! Plus, we are hosting 3 movie nights this summer – June 13, July 11 & August 8. (If the weather is nice we will be out on the front lawn if not we will be in Calvin Hall.)

Summer is a great time to try something new, so keep your eyes open and watch for the chance to be a part of something fun this summer. I am always looking for opportunities for us to grow, so if there is something that you would like to see happen or a group that you would like to be a part of…let’s talk!
