Summer at Last…

I love summer! The long summer nights, vacation, family time and being with friends are just a few things that make summer great! I also love the lazy days of summer, when life slows down just a bit and we are able to enjoy the simple things in life. It is true that summer is a slower time in the life of the church but that doesn’t mean there still aren’t opportunities for us to grow and learn together.

I am excited about Summer @ Church and some of the fun things we have planned! This month we will be hosting an adult Sunday education class Simplify, a 4 week study which will take place in the adult Sunday school room over in Millard Hall Sundays @ 9am. As well as a weekday Bible study on the book of Esther. Don’t forget about the adventure of Vacation Bible School that is right around the corner. There are still opportunities to help with this great outreach event to our community.

Summer is a great time to try something new, so keep your eyes open and watch for the chance to be a part of something fun this summer. I am always looking for opportunities for us to grow, so if there is something that you would like to see happen or a group that you would like to be a part of…let’s talk! Blessings, Pastor Jenni
