Together in the New Year

Well, it is hard to believe that 2017 is now officially in the history books and 2018 has begun. It is always an exciting thing the start of a new year! A new opportunity to write our story as we travel another year around the sun!

But, before we go to much farther I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in the many offerings we had this Advent season. Just a quick recap of all this Advent had to offer: We hosted three small groups that met during the four weeks of advent lead by some pretty great people. We had a host of special worship times from our Sunday morning worship where we were lead by our choir and the next week by our children, to our Wednesday evening worship with communion and our annual Blue Christmas service, each service brought us closer to the gift of Jesus. We also held some great fellowship events from our Advent workshop and lunch to our annual Wassail evening of song and merriment. All of these events could not have happened without our wonderful church family who gave of their time and talent to serve during this Advent and for that I am so grateful.

My hope is that as we enter into 2018 we continue to seek opportunities to be together in service, in worship, in study in fellowship and in prayer!
