Advent Study

Did you ever wonder specifically what the word “advent” meant?  According to the New Oxford American Dictionary, Advent means “the first season of the Christian church year leading up to Christmas and including the four preceding Sundays.” Sound confusing?   Beginning Sunday, November 27 you will have the opportunity to learn about this time of year in a non-threatening manner.  Information and group study, conversation, and questions about Advent will be available.  Four key words to Advent are Hope, Peace, Love and Life.  There is a schedule for five meetings that you may attend.  Please call the church for more information regarding the meetings.
