Adult Education – Going Deeper
I think it is safe to say that winter is over, and spring has finally sprung! The snow has melted and the signs of new life waking up from their winter’s nap are all around us. I love spring, especially after a long winter. The bright colors of spring as the flowers bloom and the trees begin to bud, the sound of birds chirping and squirrels squeaking. There is something special about the new life that surrounds us as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Easter. It is a wonderful reminder that the season of Lent is almost over as Easter is just around the corner. And the dark day of Good Friday, like the dark days of winter are necessary for the beauty of the Resurrection and the glories of Spring.
Easter is also a new beginning, an opportunity to start fresh, a chance to experience something different while going deeper in our faith and further into community. As the weather warms up it is the perfect time to seek ways to be together as a Community. To take advantage of opportunities to Grow with classes for all ages every Sunday at 9am and at Midweek @ Midtown as it continues this month. To seek possibilities to Serve at our Hand-up Food pantry, Castelar kids, Neighbors United or VBS to name a few. To participate in weekly Sunday morning worship and our special Worship services during our Holy Week. Perhaps there is another way that God has placed on your heart for you to Go Deeper…that is AWESOME, let’s talk!
As we celebrate Easter and the new life that comes with Spring I hope this season is also one of growth in your life. I am always amazed at how God works in our lives and how with God we can accomplish more then we could ever imagine. This spring may we continue to go Deeper and Further together as we live out our faith!
