Interfaith Thanksgiving Service,  Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church
Sunday, November 24th, 6 p.m.

Join us for an  Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at Kountze Memorial Church at 6 p.m. on November 24th.  Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church is located at 2650 Farnam Street in Omaha.  
 
The theme of the service is “God is our Refuge.”  The service will feature First Presbyterian Church’s Pastor, Dr. Gary Eller and Mike Hornacek from Together Inc.  The offering will go to Together Inc., an Omaha Agency that helps battle homelessness and hunger in our community.  Join us and our interfaith community as we give thanks to God!

Children’s Christmas Program, Dec. 8 at 10:30 during worship (see practice schedule below)

The Children’s Christmas Program will be presented during worship on Sunday, December 8th.  The title of the program is Uncertain Poor Shepard by Dave Clark.  This is a new Christmas Play filled with traditional music as well as new compositions.  Follow along with the angels and shepherds on that very first Christmas night as they tell their story of Jesus’ birth and how they were feeling all those years ago!
Mary Wilson will be directing the children’s Christmas Program again this year.  If your child is interested, please contact her at Wilson-home@cox.net.  These are the dates the children will be rehearsing.  All children are welcome:
Wednesday, November 13, 6:15 to 7:30.
Wednesday, November 20, 6:15 to 7:30.
Saturday, November 23, 10 a.m. to Noon.
Wednesday, December 4,  6:15 to 7:30.
Saturday, December 7, 10 a.m. to Noon.
